Masterfoods originated in 1949 as a retail and catering food business founded by the Lewis family, before the company was acquired by Mars Food in 1967.
Masterfoods is one of Mars’ largest Australian brands and is market leader in many of the food categories in which it competes.
In addition to the well known and much loved ranges of herbs and spices, mustards, relishes and flavoured sauces, Masterfoods has pioneered innovative food marketing developments including Recipe Bases and Finishing Sauces in sachet format and the famous “squeezy” sauce bottle.
